Summer Young Adult Employment for Los Angeles

Do you want to give local students a chance to gain access to some of the most coveted companies in the entertainment world?


Work Sites Needed:  We are currently recruiting work sites to host interns this summer.  Work Sites must commit to providing supervision and a meaningful work experience for the students.

  • July 2009-Application cut-off date. 
  • July 30-Aug 4, 2009- Pre-screened LA Scholars are assigned to your company to complete 60 hours of work experience.
  • August 2009- Provide 60 hours of work experience at your company.

Students are:
- Currently enrolled in a community college in Los Angeles
- At least 18 years of age
- Properly screened, motivated and ready to work

Employers must commit to provide each student with:
- A maximum of 60 hours of meaningful work beginning in August (schedule can vary)
- Complete and end of program evaluation,  sign off on time cards
- Meaningful Supervision of each student
