  • Videogames are and will outpace ALL forms of entertainment
  • Revenue in the US and Canada will grow at an average rate of 5.8 per cent annually for the next five years
  • Will generate USD 17.2 billion in sales in 2009, and grow up to USD 21.6 billion in 2013
  • It's growth to videogames being a smarter purchase for cost-conscious consumers

LA Scholars, a summer youth employment program, prepares local college students in Los Angeles for highly coveted jobs in the video game industry.  The program supports students that live just a few miles from some of the biggest video game companies in the world get their foot in the door.
